Privacy Policy.

How Nexus Point Ltd collects, uses and protects the information of visitors to nexuspoint.co.uk, including what happens when you send us an enquiry.

Who we are

Nexus Point Ltd (“Nexus Point”, “we”, “us”) is the data controller for personal information collected through nexuspoint.co.uk (the “Site”). Our registered office is Norfolk House, Bostock Road, Winsford, Cheshire, CW7 3BD. You can contact us at [email protected] or, for data protection matters, [email protected].

This policy explains what we collect when you use the Site, why we collect it, who we share it with and the rights you have. Separate agreements govern the personal data we process on behalf of clients who use Apex AI and our other products and services; those are set out in The Legals.

What we collect

Information you give us

When you use the enquiry form you give us your name and email address, and optionally your phone number, the name of your dealership or group and a message. If you email or call us, we keep the correspondence and any details you provide.

Information collected automatically

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how the Site is used. It is privacy-first: it does not use cookies or local storage, does not fingerprint devices and gives us only aggregated information such as page views, referrers, browser type and country. It does not identify you.

The Site is hosted and protected by Cloudflare. To keep the Site secure and available, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, request headers and timing as part of its security and performance services. Where Cloudflare needs to challenge suspicious traffic it may set strictly necessary security cookies, described in our Cookie Policy.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on the Site and we do not run Google Analytics or similar third-party trackers.

How we use your information

  • To respond to your enquiry, arrange a demonstration of Apex AI or discuss our marketing services.
  • To follow up with you about products and services you have shown an interest in.
  • To keep the Site secure, prevent abuse and diagnose problems.
  • To understand, in aggregate, how the Site is used so we can improve it.
  • To comply with legal obligations and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Our lawful bases

We rely on our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries, promoting our products and services to businesses in the automotive sector, and keeping the Site secure. Where the law requires consent, for example for certain electronic marketing, we will ask for it and you can withdraw it at any time. Where we are required to process information to comply with a legal obligation, we rely on that obligation.

Who we share it with

We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Site and respond to you, acting on our instructions:

  • Cloudflare for hosting, security and analytics.
  • Resend for delivering enquiry-form emails to our team.
  • Google Workspace for our email and calendar.

Some providers process data outside the United Kingdom. Where they do, transfers are protected by UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement and appropriate safeguards. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up, normally no longer than 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a client, in which case our client agreement applies. Aggregated analytics data does not identify you and is kept for reporting. Security logs are retained by Cloudflare for a short period in line with its own policies.

Security

The Site is served over HTTPS. Enquiry details are transmitted encrypted, delivered only to named members of our team and stored in access-controlled business systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to our processing of it, to receive it in a portable format and to withdraw any consent you have given. To exercise any of these rights, contact [email protected]. We will respond within one month.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113, although we would welcome the chance to address any concern first.

Third-party websites

The Site links to other websites, including our social media pages. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites, and this policy does not apply to them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date of the latest version is shown alongside. Significant changes will be highlighted on the Site.

Questions about this policy or how we handle your information can be sent to the addresses alongside.
